The Red Sea stands as one of the most dramatic locations in Scripture. When Israel faced the Egyptian army behind and the waters ahead, God demonstrated His mighty power. “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night” (Exodus 14:21). Israel crossed on dry ground, while Pharaoh’s army was swallowed up.
This miraculous crossing became a defining moment of deliverance, often remembered in Psalms (Psalm 106:9–10). It reminds us that when the way forward seems impossible, God makes a way. The Red Sea is not just history—it’s a picture of salvation through Christ, who delivers us from bondage into freedom (1 Corinthians 10:1–2).
